libXm.3.dylib. Making a soft-link satisfies the dynamic loader, but
then they all fail with "can't add Xtcallback." So apparently they were
built with an older version of libXm. Perhaps they were built for
Jaguar (MacOS 10.2) whereas I am running Panther (MaxOS 10.3)?
Any help you can give me is appreciated.

It looks like Motif changed versions while the OS X tarball was being put
together. While we look into fixing this could you try downloading the full
CD image at
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/download/examples/vlinac0-7.iso.gz
and running the installer which it provides? I tried this last night and was
able to get the 'virtual linac' IOC and MEDM sessions to work.
