I am not sure if your users are concerned about the proper interpretation of
new messages, or if they are encountering bugs?
The R3.14 version of the CA library *is* generating more detailed messages
about the specific causes of a disconnect.
The R3.14 version of the CA client library *is* detecting a disconnect if
one of {ca_poll, ca_pend_event} are not called regularly. This *is* a change
in behavior compared to R3.13.
Quite a few (mostly esoteric) issues have been patched between R3.14.7 and
R3.14.6.

If bugs have been encountered, then please send additional details so that
we can attempt to determine if you are experiencing problems that have
already been fixed. You might also find that the entries in the Mantis bug
tracker are useful for that purpose.
