Hi Tim,
Won't this attempt to build both linux.dbd and vx.dbd no matter what OS
build I am requesting? I need to restrict which dbd file is built based
on the OS build. The issue is that the dbd files included in vx.dbd
don't exist on the linux computer on which I am building. This causes
the build to fail.

Hi,
How do I specify a dbd file targeted for a specific OS? We are using
epics 3.14.6. We now want to run a linux IOC along with our existing
vxworks IOCs. The support we have written so far only works on
vxworks. We are beginning development of support for linux.
I tried DBD_linux and DBD_vxWorks but this did not work.
Make os-specific include files, e.g., linuxInclude.dbd and vxInclude.dbd.
In Makefile, say
DBD += linux.dbd
DBD += vx.dbd
Make will make linux.dbd from linuxInclude.dbd...
