I've been using linux-gpib with EPICS 3.14 on linux for the past year.
I've implemented basic interfaces to several instruments (HP3458A,
HP5328A, HP5386A, HP4395A, HP8563E). I've only been implementing the
minimum features needed for our use in diagnostics. Overall, it has worked
fairly well for diagnostics, but is not as robust as I would like for
controls.
I suspect the asynDriver framework will be a nice addition and this
approach will provide a reasonable interface to GPIB from EPICS.
