We are running Tcl/Tk on Solaris with the CA extension originally based
off of et_wish. I have found that if I use EPICS 3.14.6 and build Tcl/Tk
with --enable-threads that some of the commands do not work properly
such as umon (used for monitoring PVs and updating widgets when an event
occurs). By building Tcl/Tk with --disable-threads the problems
disappear. Since we don't need threads in Tcl/Tk it is not that big of a
problem for us right now. I just thought I would post this to tech-talk
to give other Tcl/Tk users a heads-up if they upgrade to EPICS 3.14.x.
