Pete,
I linked to the top of our hardware page because John wrote
a introduction to the Hardware Catalog there. My intent was that
everyone would be directed to the Hardware Catalog page...

Please use the 'Beamline Interest' search field to find
the currently recommended beamline hardware. This database
is a work-in-progress.

I am very happy to see this update.
Good to have many of the manuals available.

[2] IP octal 485 ($345)
        Do not recommend that anyone purchase this module.
        You might check with Mohan to verify this but to my knowledge
        (last checked last summer) no one has ever gotten the
        IP octal 485 to work with EPICS.  Is anyone _using_ this now?
        If I'm wrong, please describe how to get this to work.
        I've got about a dozen of these and they have not been useful.
