Here at the APS we have created a epics package that supports the TDS3000 series scopes. It is based on epics R3.14.6 with asynDriver providing the low level communication support. We have tested this package with GPIB, serial and ethernet using vxi11 support. These tests have been performed on a TDS3054 (w/TDS3EM), TDS3014B and a TDS3034B. Four waveform records are updated with 10K data points at 16-bits. I have used e*Scope in parallel with our package only for debugging purpose. We believe the e*Scope uses vxi11 protocols, but Tektronix's wasn't very helpful in this area. Currently I have six scopes running at APS with the epics package I mention above. I still have four scopes running on our old epics package which does not use the asynDriver support, only GPIB is supported in this package. We plan to upgrade to the new package during our next shutdown. The only thing that is not complete is the documentation, I'm in the middle of this and hope to have this complete this summer. If your interested, I could send you our tds3000 support. Nick Darrell Nineham wrote: Dear Everyone,
