The 1.x Archiver provided a CASI scripting interface for tcl, perl, and python. Has anyone ported the CASI for the new Archiver? We didn't try it yet. However, many scripting languages support XML-RPC. So it may be a good idea to develop a ML-RPC server for data archived by old version of Channel Archiver. Using this server, we can use same application for both new and old channel archiver data. In KEKB, we use a homemade data archiving tool, kekb-logger. I'm trying to develop a XML-RPC server for data archived by this program. It should support same XML-RPC API as that in Channel Archiver data. I use Python.2.3, which support XML-RPC client and server by default, for the development of a prototype. Integration of data stored by old Channel Archiver is also a problem for us. We are also developing a Web interface to Channel Archiver through XML-RPC, similar to CGIExport in the previous version of Channel Archiver. It uses PHP and xmlrpc library and gnuplot. It is still under development, but will be available in the future not far from now. Regards, Noboru
