For some reason the top makefile does not build the imagelib code. If
you cd into edm/imagelib and run make it should build and install
lib605432d2-f29d-11d2-973b-00104b8742df.so. To make sure edm recognises
the library you must delete edm/setup/edmObjects and source the setup
script edm/setup/setup.sh. This should fix the help the problem with
help not displaying pngs and gifs, and also add png and gif options to
the graphics menu.
