Hi Andrew,
There are 2 bugs in the .stt rule in base/config/RULES.Host.
Note RULES.Host is used when building code to run on the host, not on a
vxWorks IOC. The more intriguing question is why there's a rule for
.stt files in RULES.Host at all, since there was a very long gap between
about Base R3.10 or earlier and R3.14 when SNL programs could only run
on vxWorks.
I wondered about that a little later, too. My 2nd mail seems to be lost
in space, though. The same buggy rule appears in RULES.Unix, too. As
unused as in RULES.Host, I guess. I also found that RULES.Vx had been
fixed meanwhile.
I stumbled over that while installing R3.13.9 when I did a grep for all
hacks we had applied to R3.13.2. I was astonished that I still could
find the same lines here.
