In reply to Stephen Singleton's question on 13 March 2003, I've encountered
the same problem after installing EDM with Red Hat Linix 9.0. That is, a
series of error messages of the form:
******
Name:
Class: XmTextField
Character '\67' not supported in font. Discarded.
******
After consultation with Stephen Singleton (who received the answer from
John Sinclair) the problem was fixed by changing the line:
LANG="en-AU.UTF-8"
to:
LANG="C"
in the file /etc/sysconfig/i18n
Thanks to both gentlemen for the solution.
