Hytec Electronics Ltd, have a vacancy for an experienced applications
software engineer to join a small team based at their Reading office to work
on a new project.
Experience with Linux / Unix systems and applications software.
Degree or equivalent level qualification.
Experienced in Real-time operating systems. (vxWorks)
Familiarity with controls system applications (EPICS).
Device driver and real time host / target debugging in Windows environment.
Development using GNU tools and CVS source code repository.
Knowledge of high speed analogue and digital signal handling and processing.
Understanding communication protocols TCP/IP, RS-485 and RS232 etc.
Needs to have strong inter-personal and communication skills and good team
player.
