When I study EDM help files I found that maybe there are some confusing usage of activeGifClass naming in EDM.
If I create a png image object in EDM application the below text should be added into edl file:

And if I create a gif image object the below text should be added into edl file:
**********************************
cfcf6c8a_dbeb_11d2_8a97_00104b8742df

**********************************
So "cfcf6c8a_dbeb_11d2_8a97_00104b8742df" should be gif image object class name just like "activePngClass".
Why did we use such a strange name but not "activeGifClass"?
Or maybe something wrong during making EMD application?
