Using an alarm box consisting of a buzzer, lights and reset buttons is
what
we used in the present NSLS control room (non-EPICS though). The
software is not our concern. The concern is the hardware, which was
custom
made for the NSLS control room. Presently, for a different project,
because of
time constraint and man power cost, we are looking for an alarm box
off the
shelf, or commercially.
Does anyone (or Garrett) know of an alarm box consisting of a buzzer,
bell, horn, or siren, lights and sirens that is commercially available
and
could be drivern by a VME bit outputs?

Yes, we had this made by a company.
Any pointer would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kate
