Do _not_ build GDCT.

It old, outdated, quite unsupported, limited, and buggy. Its use has
been deprecated for a while. You do not need it.

The current graphical database configuration tool is called VDCT.

and instructions on how to download and install it.

Please do not waste your time trying to compile InterViews and GDCT on
your system.
