It would be good if people would register as well. There are several topics that are being targetted - but it is by no means intended to limit the discussion or presentations. For Wednesday morning there are project status talks. Diamond and SNS are listed. Please submit any others. Wednesday afternoon is a discussion on applications: personell safety, insertion device control, vacuum, and RDB use at DIAMOND. There should be a number of these to present. Please submit others. Thursday morning is organized as a timing workshop. There are presentations from PSI/DIAMOND, SNS, and requirements from LANSCE - and hopefully SLAC. A discussion will follow about the difference between the existing timing systems and the requirements for these two linear machines. Thursday afternoon is slated for discussions on hardware interfaces and 3.14 applications. So far, there are some great talks here: Porting Ether/IP driver from vxWorks to the OSI layer, porting the archiver to the multi-threaded channel access client interface, porting the serial driver to the OSI layer, LINUX drivers, vacuum serial device drivers, and talks on the Diamond drivers and network interfaces. Also, there is a talk on the use of Windows as the IOC platform for diagnostics at SNS. Friday will cover channel access clients, client side tools and EPICS core. So far, presentations include: SNS ELOG, JDCT update, ScopeTool, OSI layer, 3.14 status, 3.15 status, HP issues, JLab archiver update. It would be nice to complete the agenda this week. We should have an update on the agenda by early next week. Thanks, Bob ps. Register - please...
