Subject: an error about building cdev server

i have built cdev_1.7.5,now i want to build cdev extensions,so i start to build cdevGenericServer,but it shows an error:

   => Building [solaris] in Name Server Query Application
      => CC -c dumpServer.cc -o dumpServer.o
      => CC -c dumpServer.o -o dumpServer
ld: fatal: library -lcdev: not found
