Hi,

Indeed, there are Env variables that need to be set on your WIN32
platform. The two main env vaiables for channel access clients for
EPICS 3.14:
----------------------------------------------
Search the local subnet for the PV of your choice
Must be set to either YES or NO
EPICS_CA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=<YES/NO>

Search specific CA servers in a certain order
EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=<A list of CA server IP addresses>
example, given that my linux-x86 IOC's IP number is 172.20.72.67, then
EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=172.20.72.67

When using large arrays in 3.14 max array size in bytes
EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES=<max array size in bytes>

----------------------------------------------
By the way the same env variables must be set on any host including
LINUX.

For more info about CA env variables see:
