Channel Watcher V2.0 is now available.  Follow the Channel Watcher link from http://epics.aps.anl.gov/epics/extensions/index.php 

The Channel Watcher moves the save part of save/restore from the IOC to UNIX.  CW V2.0 supports the caGet/caPut file formats,  Tim Mooney's autoSaveRestore.3.13.5 V2.6 dated 4/5/02 format (see http://www.aps.anl.gov/xfd/SoftDist/custom.htm), and a couple of formats we like here at SLAC including one that supports waveforms.

I'll be giving a talk on this standalone CA client at next week's EPICS Collaboration Meeting at Jefferson Labs.
