If the selection you want is done by setting 22 individual *bits* (rather
than 22 *values*), there should be an alternative using the mbboDirect
record, working through the fields for the individual bits.
Unfortunately, when mbboDirect was created from mbbo, VAL was defined as
DBF_USHORT, instead of DBF_ULONG, and only 16 bit fields were added. I've
thought about adding another 16 bit fields (using B10 -> B1F so the
existing field names don't have to change), but I'm not sure of the
consequences of changing VAL from SHORT to LONG for existing clients.
