Hi,

    I am trying to install EPICS (version baseR3.14.0beta2) in our system, Linux-x86.

 During installation,I came across this problem after executing make command,

 "cannot open pipes for command substitution: Too many open files".

 Installation ran upto some point after that I am getting this above error.

 Could you suggest me as to what could be the problem and how to get around it.

  I would greatly appreciate if you kindly give me some suggestion.
