I see in alh the following code:
status = ca_put(DBR_PUT_ACKS, chid, psevr);
but alh does not seem to affect the ACKS field of a pv
which explains why two instances of alh are not necessarily
in sync with respect to the acknowledged state of a pv.
Is this the result of improper configuration on my part?
We are not currently using access security at all.
