Once I've written the routine (on C) to be used in Subroutine EPICS
record which prints
a message (from the associated message table of _any_ size) according to
the number got from
VAL field of SUB record to another record.  The message table is also C
file. It cannot be
changed in run time.  Printing is done with dbPut call. The name of the
target record is taken
from one of link fields (currently from FLNK field). If you are still
interesting in an alternative
solution, please, contact me.
