Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
I've only ever seen the delay() inside a when. Outside, folk use taskDelay(n_of_ticks) (or, in the operating system independent models, epicsTimeSleep(n_of_ticks).

Subject: snc delay()
Hi,
the snc manual says that the delay() function can only be used inside a when
expression. Is this really true? Isn't it just a finction that returns true or
false? I want to use it inside a for statement.
TIA
