So we are aware of at least some of these problems.
Also: Channel Access works very well across different base releases.
Freezing the base release for a certain IOC board type will work -
probably longer than the boards do.
And as with almost every software, trying to run the newest release with
all the features including largest array support on the oldest boards
with the smallest memory might not always be possible. Such is life.
