We have been converting from EPICS R3.13.1 to R3.13.4.
One difference I have noted is in the messages logged when a CA connection
is lost.
3.13.1:
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 CA.Client.Diagnostic..............................................
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 Message: "Network connection lost"
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 Severity: "Warning" Context: "172.16.0.17:5064"
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 Source File: ../iocinf.c Line Number: 1479
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 ..................................................................
3.13.4:
Sat Apr 13 11:19:31 2002 dbCa:exceptionCallback stat Network connection lost channel unknown
While the new format is clearer and more concise, I have found it useful to
know what system was serving the channel, as the channel name is not
available. Can the IP address be added back into these messages ?
