With the message from Bob Soliday I think we are now OK for vxWorks, solaris, Linux (at least recent releases), and WIN32. HP-UX provides both isnan() and isinf(), either as macros defined in math.h or as functions implemented in libm. One potential problem on HP-UX 10.20 is that these will return incorrect results if passed floats instead of doubles, and if the preprocessor flag HPUX_SOURCE is not specified. However, most HP-UX sites should be using the proper flags, and it's a non-issue with HP-UX 11. Chris -- Christopher A. Larrieu Computer Scientist, Acc.
