Hi,

I have a record I wrote a while ago which, according to the comments,
does the following:

 *  The waveform analysis record is used to generate statistical
information 
 *  on an array.
 *    Outputs generated by the record are: 
 *      maximum value
 *      minimum value
 *      mean value
 *      mean absolute deviation
 *      variance
 *      standard deviation
 *      Full Width Half Maximum (optional)
 *
 *  Data may be read in to the record in either scalar or array
quantities.

This got as far as "beta", which means we used it in the lab and the
documentation is out of date.

If you'd like the code let me know. It would help to get you started at
least.
