Hi Folks,
As you may or may not know, the deadline for ICALEPCS
registration is this Friday. The work it takes to put on
this conference every other year is considerable. The
organizing lab also takes on a great deal of financial risk.
In the past, this has not been an issue. Since the Sept.
11th incident, things are a bit strained. Regardless, this
conference will be held. It is up to our community to show
our support for the conference and the folks at SLAC and
register for the conference and the hotel. Please register
as soon as possible this week and try to afford the
organizing committee some relief. The program looks very
interesting. I am building the agenda for the following
EPICS meeting to compliment the ICALEPCS and handle things
that are mostly interesting to the EPICS community. I look
