I found today that the SBS (formerly Greenspring) IP-488 Industry Pack
IEEE-488 interface is no longer listed on the SBS Web site.  A salesperson
told me that the module is still available, but will probably be
discontinued soon.  We rely on this module for EPICS IEEE-488 communication.

A Web search revealed that Motorola sells a similar module, the MVIP300
based on the same TMS9914A chip.  Has anyone tried one of these devices to
see if it might even be plug compatible with the IP-488, or would be
relatively easy to modify the drivers for it?
