The APS web-server is currently offline because we're being hit bigtime by
a Distributed Denial of Service Attack. The attack is looking for a
vulnerability in Microsoft's IIS web-server (we use the Netscape's
server), but until it ceases http://www.aps.anl.gov will not be available
(other than possibly inside of APS).
Those of you running public sites using Microsoft's IIS might want to
check that your patches are up to date...
