Hi All!
  Can anyone tell me how to use hooks in Linux-based EPICS14.2?
I have written myHookInit, myHookFuncioon as mentioned in the application
developer guide.
  For vxworks based EPICS if the commands in st.cmd are as follows,

  ld<bin/myHook.o
  myHookInit

  then, what is the equivalent for stcmd.host on linux ?
  What I could do was to combine it with exampleLib and call myHookInit.
 But,where am I suppose to call myHookInit? Certainly not in stcmd.host,I
believe.I couldn't find details about this in latest Application
Developer's Guide.

  One more query.Can I call

  post_event(some_event_number)

 from driver support routines?

 I would like to know the procedure for doing these.
