hello, every,
I want to build my cross compiler instead of the Wind River tools
under my RedHat6.2, so I get 3 tornado directories, WIND_BASE/target/config,
WIND_BASE/target/h, WIND_BASE/target/src,and put them in
/usr/local/cross/x86/target.
I get three package:
binutils-2.9.1.tar.gz
gcc-2.95.2.tar.gz
newlib-1.8.2.tar.gz
and unpack those in ~/src directory, so there are 3 directories:
binutils-2.9.1
gcc-2.95.2
newlib-1.8.2
then I make 2 new dirs in the same directory
build-binutils
build-gcc
in build-binutils, I type
../binutils-2.9.1/configure --target=i386-wrs-vxworks --prefix=/usr/local/cross/x86
It gives the following error:
checking for stdlib.h... yes
*** BFD does not support target i386-wrs-vxworks.
*** Look in bfd/config.bfd for supported targets.
Configure in /home/epics/linuxEPICS/crossCompiler/build-binutils/opcodes failed, exiting.
The detail in the attached file.
How can I configure it?
Any advice is welcome.
