Dear Madam and Sirs,
 I should like to inform you that LeCroy has decided to end the production
of modular research instruments (NIM, CAMAC, Fastbus and VME). Last orders
for these products will be accepted until 30 June 2001.

 As high energy physics experiments have increasingly chosen to develop
custom electronics, the need for more general modular instrumentation has
declined significantly. Consequently, the decision to stop this product line
is being taken now while there is a sufficient supply of parts on hand to
insure a last buy of equipment in the next 6 months.
