We are at a similar point.  I _think_ the problem we are having
is due to the way the A-B scanner is configured.  Unfortunately,
I only had a very brief shot at the hardware back in January; then
it had to be shipped to our magnet vendor for testing.  It's
alleged that it will be available again around the end of the
month.

Anywho - based on my insufficent understanding of how it ought
to work, The sacnner your connected to has to be listed in it's
own scan list or you can't "see" any of the A-B hardware connected
to it from the DeviceNET side.

I'm probably not being too helpful here.  I haven't looked at
this since January so I've probably even got all the buzzwords
mixed up.  I wish you luck, and I'll probably be around asking for
help in a month or so.
