Subject: Capfast for Linux

I received three replies to my enquiry re Capfast for Linux.

one tied Capfast for Linux to having Linux support for VxWorks;
another was interested in it, also in Capfast for FreeBSD;
the last one was interested in it too

Thanks to Pete Siddons, Hubert Yamada and Alan Bridger

One thing that I should have made clear is that with EPICS R3.14, you
don't need VxWorks. You can use any OS for which there is an OSI
implementation (and for which you have the requisite drivers). This
might make Linux more attractive as a host development environment?

Anyway, I have to leave it at that now.

Cheers,

William
