We have support for the Keithley 2000 Digital Multimeter via RS-232 (Hideos
and MPF). It has a 9 channel thermocouple plug-in card with an on-board
resistance thermometer for cold-junction compensation. You would need 3 of
these meters for 24 inputs. There is a 20-channel scanner card, but it does
not have cold-junction compensation as far as I know. That may or may not be
important for your application.
