The Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) Project at Oak Ridge National
Laboratory is seeking a controls software engineer for a leadership role in
the SNS Controls Group there. The control system will be EPICS-based. SNS
will deliver 2MW of protons to a liquid Mercury Target to produce slow
neutron pulses at 60 Hz. It includes a 1 GeV pulsed Superconducting Linac
and a Compressor Ring. The approved project budget is $1.4B, and the
control system budget is $55M.
