Subject: building extensions

Hi,

I'm having trouble building extensions. My understanding is that there
are 3 directories that I need to be concerned about: base, extensions,
and ext-config. The question is how are they related?

Option 1:
epics
    |
    | base
    | extensions
    | ext-config

Option 2:
epics
    |
    | base
         | extensions
         | ext-config

Other possibility?

Thanks

Geoff
