Bi Ra Systems is proud to announce a New EPICS supported hardware device called the General Purpose Fieldbus Controller(GPFC)designed by DESY & IHEP. The GPFC is a compact and powerful microcomputer based controller which supports unlimited applications connections via the IndustryPack I/O interface. It was primarily designed as a compact and economical solution for introducing advanced programming and operating environment at the fieldbus level of accelerator control systems. The GPFC main board has two IP slots, so that a wide range of commercially available plug-on IP modules(CAN, Profibus, Ethernet, digital and analog I/O, etc) can be used to configure it to application needs{APPLICATIONS UNLIMITED}. The GPFC's extended(dual board) configuration allows 4 IP modules which provides 28 MB DRAM, 2 MB FLASH.
 
As a small manufacturing company, Bi Ra Systems is pleased to support EPICS custom hardware for all within the HEP community. A few GPFC will be available for evaluation.
