Yes, this is important.  We have the ACE/TAO (e.g. Corba) running
which requires VxWorks 5.4 and it is desired to run EPICS on this
same system.

Likely I will be attempting to do this is January so if the fix is
easy by all means please, please make it so my build of EPICS for
will be a simple thing.
