Wow, that was quick.
I've already considered the genSub record and if nobody else has written
a suitable record I think I will use it. It seems that you can handle nearly
every I/O device with a genSub record. But 42 I/O links maybe are
full of meaning in some cases, but less would be more appropriate in my case.
