Hello,
In the EPICS record manual it is written, you can insert in the DESC
field an arbitrary 28 character record. In Germany we have some special
charater for oe, ue, ae, they have the ASCII value 123,124,125. If I
used this characters in the DESC field the dbLoadRecord gives some error
messages like "error in line..." In the US-ASCII-Set 123 and 125 stands
for { }, are this character not allowed in DESC field ?, which other
characters are also not allowed ?
We are using epics 3.13 beta 11.
Thanks for help
Olaf Krebs
