Is this the first A24 device you have used with your particular build
of the board support for the MVME177? Perhaps the board support is
not properly mapping the A24 VME space to CPU address 0xF0000000 and above
(where the AB driver expects it to be).
The scanner's A24 address should be set to 0xC00000. With the 167 board
support, this shows up at the CPU address of 0xF0C00000 (which shows up in the
error messages).
Test :
Boot vxWorks and then enter m 0xF0C0000 . If you get a bus error, the
address mapping is not properly configured and the AB scanner will not
be recognized.
