I'm guessing you mean the driver supplied in EPICS base, which works
with the steppermotor record. I don't know about that driver. The
3.12.2-compatible driver mentioned in Ron Sluiter's reply to your
message supports both VME8/44 and VME58 motor controllers, but it works
with the motor record, not the steppermotor record.
