Hi Everyone,
I am using Epics 3.13.1.
I am really confused about the initial values of ASLO for
ai and ao records. In the record reference manual it says that the
initial value for ai and ao are 1.0.  However, in the dbd files
ai has 
	field(ASLO,DBF_FLOAT) {
		prompt("Adjustment Slope")
		promptgroup(GUI_CONVERT)
		pp(TRUE)
		interest(1)
		initial("1")
but
ao has
no value listed for initial, 
which I assume means it's initial value will
turn out to be the empty string (presumably 0.0 when the record is initialized). 
I tried  dct313 to see what
that program thought the values should be. The results are:
ASLO has a default of 0   for ao records and
	 a default of 1.0 for ai records.

I am putting 1.0 as the value of ASLO in all the capfast symbols
that we are using for both ai and ao records, which seems to be the
right way to go to me.  Please tell me
if I am missing something, or missed a techtalk message that discussed this
already.
