When I put in CA links to other IOCs recently I didn't modify the startup
file at all. This is to be taken with a grain of salt, as the other IOC
is on the same subnet, and we are already talking to other things on the
same subnet, like having a NFS mounted disk as well as serial lines on
terminal server ports, i.e. there are lines concerning IP
addresses/routing in the startup file - I can post them if there is
interest.
We found a different problem in processing, in that dbpr of the record in
question showed NPP (on DOL) in spite of the Capfast drawing clearly
having CPP in it. We fixed that by putting the "CPP NMS" into the string
in the hardware input as well. (Again, details tomorrow if there's
interest).
