Hi people.

What I find quite confusing about the _analog_ in/out records is the
fact that the converted value presented to device support is actually a
LONG INT. If device support wants to use the DOUBLE 'oval' it can't use
the  conversion facility. I'd suggest to make available the converted
(double) value in the future. (In order not to break existing software,
an additional field would be required.)
