Hi Burkhard,
I have not responded to the tech-talk thread on this matter
because I don't handle the distributions and I, in fact, don't know
how to get them. You should contact Bakul Banerjee
[email protected] or (630)252-4368.
You seem to have a mix of old and new stuff. I am not sure where
you are getting it. You need to get a complete directory structure
and a consistent set of files. Normally these come from the EPICS CVS
repository. You will have talk to Bakul about how to get access to
the repository.
If you are interested in the beta version of MEDM, I put the
whole directory structure on ftp.aps.anl.gov/pub/evans for the current
beta (latest and greatest, but not thoroughly tested). There are also
other files there. You may get in trouble if you pull things off
without knowing what they really are. An announcement is sent out to
the beta testers. If you (or anyone else) wants to participate, send
me an email.
