I ran into the same problem about 6 months ago. After much
back and forth with wind river, I was finally given some code
to run in my application that would set the parity to even. This
was for the serial ports on the 167 board, so I'm not sure how
applicable it would be for the IP boards, but if people are interested
in it, I could post it via tech-talk.
